After last year's disappointing early ending, this year was a return to form with late night philosophy, great wines and an extremely impressive culinary spread.
Cuisine:
Pineapple chilli beef in roasted bell pepper with coasted coconut encrusted pineapple fingers and avocado passionfruit side salad (Stephen)
A healthy dose of chilli in the fruity chilli beef. Nicely balanced with the pineapple and chilli sauce and pale ale. A great starter which could have been a main.
Main: Hearty home style chilli chicken mole (Tim)
After days of preparation including roasting the vegetables and thermomixing the spices, this chicken mole was spectacularly delicious with a perfect balance of flavours, although a little light on chilli.
Dessert: Chilli mango granita with candied chilli and lime (Bryce)
High on chilli and delicious flavour, the granita and candied garnish was a big success with the highest chilli quotient saved till last.
